Parmesan Breadsticks

I make these breadsticks at least 2 times a week. They are fast, easy & my favorite cheap!! I make them just like the recipe, but I also sometimes use Rhodes Rolls. I use 12 rolls (or half the recipe & use 6 rolls) , let them thaw (or defrost them a little in the microwave), roll them into about 5 inch sticks, roll in butter & cheese, let them rise about 15 minutes, & then bake them for about 10 minutes. I have been know to get creative as well, making them into the letters "P", "W" & "K" or shapes like hearts or a pumpkins (you kind of had to use your imagination to see the pumpkin!). Enjoy!

1 loaf frozen bread dough
1/4 cup butter, melted
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Thaw bread dough for about 2 hours. Cut loaf into eight pieces. Stretch piece to about 6 inches. Dip in butter the roll in Parmesan cheese. Place on greased baking sheet. Let rise about 1/2 hour. Bake at 400 degrees for about 12 minutes or until lightly browned. Makes 8 large breadsticks.
Note: There are only 5 breadsticks in the picture because I ate one!
